Education giant Taaleem from the United Arab Emirates acquires land for a school as part of the Ghaf Woods development project
Taaleem will design, build and operate the school within the forest community, subject to final approval from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).

Taaleem purchased land for a school in Ghaf Woods and, in partnership with Majid Al Futtaim, will build a school there with a British curriculum.
The education provider will design, build and operate the school within the forest community, subject to final approval from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
Ghaf Woods covers an area of 738,000 square meters near Global Village, near Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Highway. Boasting more than 35,000 trees, the campus emphasizes sustainability and well-being. Part of the community will be the Ghaf Woods Mall, a shopping center integrated into the forest.

We look forward to welcoming a new generation of students and creating an educational environment that will flourish in the heart of this remarkable new neighborhood,” added Sam Truman, Chief Operating Officer of Taaleem.
The school will incorporate outdoor instruction and experiential learning, which is in line with Ghaf Woods' focus on sustainability, community and connecting with nature.
Ghaf Woods will include more than 7,000 homes, including one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses. The community will be developed in phases, with completion scheduled for 2032.
